1. Check whether there are cracks, aging or leakage lines in the cooling system pipes, joints and non-spacing parts, and whether the machine parts are damaged. If leakage points or mechanical parts are found damaged, replace related parts in time if necessary.

2. Check whether the liquid level of the radiator meets the requirements, and replenish the coolant if necessary. It should be noted here that try not to add fresh water, after adding water will reduce the cooling effect, long-term use will also cause internal corrosion, resulting in blocked circulation and even more leaks.

3. Make sure that the core on the front of the radiator is not clogged with dirt or covered with soil, clean it if necessary, and clean it. When driving cargo trailer for a long time, there will be a lot of wool, insects and dust on the front of the radiator. This is normal, but it should be cleaned in time to avoid long-term blockage and affecting heat dissipation.

4. Check whether the color of the coolant is normal or contains impurities. If the antifreeze becomes turbid or the color is dark brown, it needs to be replaced immediately; if there are more impurities, it means that there is corrosion inside the water tank, and it should be cleaned in time. Pay special attention to the use of antifreeze. Cooling with water will cause corrosion of the engine and water tank.

5. Check the condition of the radiator cover valve and seal. Check if there are any cracks, delamination, wire breakage, severe wear and other phenomena in the water pump transmission belt. If work safety cannot be guaranteed, it should be replaced in time. At the same time, check whether the tightness of the water pump drive belt meets the requirements, and adjust it if necessary.

6. Check whether the water temperature sensor works normally and whether it is consistent with the water temperature meter.

7. Check whether the thermal switch of the water tank fan and the fan motor are operating normally, and whether the circuit connection meets the requirements. If necessary, replace or adjust it.

Coolant filling specifications:

1. Open the expansion water tank cover when the engine stops and the water tank temperature is around 40°C (to prevent liquid splashing and steam burns).

2. Fill the coolant to the MAX of the water tank.

3. Cover and tighten to a sealed state, start the engine, and run at medium speed to raise the temperature above 80°C to ensure that the thermostat can open the air in the exhaust system.

4. Shut down and check the cooling system and heating system for leaks.

5. If the water level of the water tank is below MAX, repeat the above process until the water level does not change.
